We have an incredible team of professionals who share a common passion: Preserving history, one story at a time.
Lynn grew up and lived in Northern Maryland most of her life. Recently, she moved to Charleston, SC with her husband and two cats. They have three children.
Having shared a recorded personal history at her father's 2020 "Zoom" funeral in the midst of the Covid pandemic, Lynn realized the importance and value of recording not only her Dad's but everyone's history. Everyday Legacies is the way and means of capturing those histories.
Marianne has a degree from Brigham Young University, where she studied literature and creative writing. Having grown up in a large, opinionated family, she knows how valuable each individual voice can be. Though she has lived in four different states, she currently resides in Houston, Texas with her husband and two children.
She enjoys her work as a writer with Everyday Legacies because it allows her to engage with people's stories and showcase the beauty that is already there.
My name is Hannah, and I’ve been writing since I was in elementary school! My favorite pastime is writing and playing video games. I grew up traveling the world and I’ve always had a big interest in personal/family history. It’s a reward to be able to learn more about the world through other’s experiences!
I’m Katie! History is my passion. When I’m not writing people’s personal histories, I’m teaching it to my students! My favorite part of working for Everyday Legacies is feeling like I get to know the people whose stories I’m writing in such a personal way. It’s an honor to hear their life stories and put their experiences into something tangible.
Candice Bellows is a dedicated editor with experience in genres ranging from memoir to business to fantasy. With a decade-long track record in both traditional and independent publishing, she is dedicated to providing high-quality editorial services to clients.
Her favorite part of working with Everyday Legacies is getting to experience the stories of so many different people: the highs, the lows, the laughs, the tears, and everything in between.
Kaley Mailo here, project manager for Everyday Legacies. I've been called hyper-organized and I'd have to say that's accurate as I love myself a good standard operating procedure. Physical spaces, digital spaces- I'm into organizing all of it so that work and life can move on its optimal course.
My organizational skills flood into the recording of my own history and that of my children. Continually recognizing that “If I have seen further, it is by standing on the shoulders of giants" (Sir, Isaac Newton).
Hi, I'm Jorja, the office assistant here at Everyday Legacies! Originally from Idaho and a speaker of Spanish, I'm a current student at Idaho State University preparing to work in the field of women's health.
My admiration for Everyday Legacies and its purpose along with my interest in learning from individuals and their life milestones makes working here a delight!
